Assignment: 29 hours a week
Starting pay for 24-25 school year: $15.00/hour
The Paraprofessional will work with students receiving special education support.
Paraprofessional will provide:
Support for special needs students
Other duties as assigned
The job is not limited to any or all of the following skills, duties and responsibilities:
- Organization
- The ability to provide positive guidance to students in a manner that communicates dignity and respect.
- The ability to explain curriculum expectations following directive from the teacher.
- The ability to work professionally with staff, students, and other providers.
- Basic understanding of technology
- Dependable attendance
Paraprofessional starting wage is based on the Classification of the current Paraprofessional Master Agreement.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. This can be achieved by submitting college transcripts or successfully completing the paraprofessional assessment.
