Job Description
Midland Public Schools has multiple openings for substitute paraprofessional support. Substitute Paraprofessionals are contacted on an as-needed basis to cover absences reported by regular hour paraprofessionals. The role of the substitute paraprofessional is to assist teachers with class work and/or assist with the daily care of students.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Title I buildings (Plymouth Elementary and Central Park Elementary): applicants must provide documentation of Highly Qualified status: 60+ college credits or successful ETS Paraprofessional testing.
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit, stand, bend, lift and walk frequently.
- As assignments may vary for job responsibilities, applicants must be able to assist students with physical needs that may be required.
